AS9100 Aviation quality certificate for Hortec BV

14-03-2011

Oldenzaal – The Hortec company has obtained the AS 9100 certificate, an important aviation quality acknowledgement. No more than six companies in the Netherlands, active in aviation development and assembly, have qualified for this certificate.

For some time now, Hortec supplies electronic systems to Fokker Services. The certificate qualification paves Hortec’s way to enhance its aviation operation.

Hortec General Manager Lars Zwanenburg proudly tells: ‘Being a relatively small player in the aviation business, we are nonetheless one of the 68 companies in The Netherlands having obtained this quality certificate. In our market, there are no more than six companies in the country that comply with its very severe demands. Hortec has thus conquered a first division position in the development and manufacture of high-tech safety systems’.

Hortec is also ISO 9001 and IPC-A-610 certified. The IPC-A-610 is a quality standard that describes the visual acceptance demands for assembled electronics. All staff of the electronics production department receive supplementary training and exams on a regular basis.

Hortec BV develops and produces electronic systems for industrial, medical and aviation appliances. The company employs a staff of 24 and has more than 15 year of experience in the field of high-tech electronics.
